Mr. Edmiston has come to Montbello after teaching Media Technology for 17 years at Jack Yates H.S. in Houston,TX. He has also worked as a freelance producer for CNN, NBC, and FOX.
Media Technology is a new program here at Montbello. The course is about learning how to write, shoot, edit, and produce video productions. The students use Canon XL2 cameras and Apple FinalCutPro for editing video.
Also, a new professional lighting grid has been installed. A control room has been built for live broadcast including a video switcher and audio console.
The students are currently (producing) broadcasting the announcements/newscast daily to the campus. Also, students are shooting (taping) video to be edited for the 2nd Montbello Warrior video-yearbook.
