  • Educational policy addressing the technical standards of K-12 students

Educational Philosophy

I am an administrator, I will strive to create active learners who will become active participants of society. Rather than merely playing the role of a giver of information, I will play the role of a coach or developer of the students assisting them acquire the knowledge, skills and abilities needed to become a fruitful learner. I will do my best to provide the most current and innovative tools for learning.

I am an administrator, I will work with parents, legal guardians, and other interested parental parties to encourage their active participation in the child’s learning process. It is my foundational belief that parents who are engaged with the student’s learning process produces a focused student whose goals is/are to meet and/or exceed the stated objectives/goals.

I am an administrator, as an administrator I will utilize the resources around me to assist in the development of all students. I will invite community leaders, business professionals, and other educators to speak positive life lessons that will impact the child in a manner that will encourage them to actively engage themselves in life.

I am an administrator, I view learning as a lifelong process. I will strive to continually develop my craft of administration through a plethora of development tools such as (continuing education, classes, and professional development courses) which will help me hone skills required to remain a success.

I am an administrator, I am not an island, therefore I will encourage the use of teams, teamwork, and unity. As a team member myself, I will actively model the various roles within a team to the teachers I serve, fellow administrators and colleagues.

I am an administrator therefore I recognize the numerous learning styles of each child as they develop in the journey called life. As an administrator I will use a variety of skills that builds on the learning strengths of my staff, the children, and community I serve while developing their learning gaps.

…I am… an administrator
